Mexico’s Baja rightfully deserves its outstanding reputation for great fishing. Throughout much of the year, striped marlin are abundant. Because most will fall into the 100 to 150 pound range, they are ideal targets for the light tackle angler. As the summer arrives, blue and black marlin begin to appear, with the peak months during the fall. Baja’s beautiful, rugged coastline provides excellent habitat for big roosterfish, as well as other light tackle species.
For those who want to stay in Cabo San Lucas, at the southern tip of the Baja, the

pangas.
