Bonefish - Pete and Gay’s - Bahamas
Abaco’s southern flats are an overlooked bonefish factory. Bones run on average 3 to 4 pounds, though 5 to 8 pounders are not uncommon, along with occasional double digit trophies. The flats on this seldom fished part of Abaco are extensive, running for miles in any direction. Unlike other parts of Abaco, many of these flats are hard bottomed and ideal for the angler who likes to pursue bonefish on foot. Local guides know their backyard intimately, and use the lodge’s modern skiffs to speed anglers to a wide array of bonefishing hot spots. Pete and Gay’s is under it’s second generation of ownership. US educated owner Stanley White knows how to please customers, providing a high level of personal service along with
comfortable, air-conditioned accommodations and well prepared meals. Daily service to Marsh Harbor makes this an easy to reach destination.
