British Columbia Steelhead
Large, aggressive steelhead in the heart of British Columbia. Fish unpressured tributaries of the famed Skeena, where the local outfitter completely controls guided fishing access. Spring runs begin mid-March, featuring bright steelies that weigh eight- to twelve-pounds, but which can exceed 25 pounds. Or opt for the fall, prime months for hooking a big steelhead on a dry fly. Northwest Fishing Guides’ crews have years of experience on this complex but often rewarding fishery. Late spring through late summer months produce excellent salmon fishing, from giant kings of 50 pounds or more, to large, leaping silvers. Guests stay in a comfortable lodge outside of Terrace, BC, just minutes from some of the best waters. Comfortable accommodations and all meals provided as part of the package. The small size of the operation guarantees a personal touch both on and off the water.
